Welcome to the Ocean State Bridge Club website. We are a member of the Rhode Island Bridge Association, unit 145, district 25, of the American Contract Bridge League. We believe that duplicate bridge is the best card game in the world.
Join us at noon on Mondays, including most Monday holidays. Sharpen your mind, make new friends, and enjoy our hospitality. If you do not have a partner, please call ahead to 508.636.3138 and plan to arrive early to discuss partnership agreements and to fill out a convention card.
Brookdale Sakonnet Bay, 1215 Main Road, Tiverton, Rhode Island 02878, is a senior living community located immediately off Route 24 just five miles south of Fall River, Massachusetts. The facility is handicap accessible at both the front and rear entrances. Snacks, including coffee and tea, are provided by Brookdale Sakonnet Bay. Feel free to bring a lunch.
Parking is encouraged at the rear of the building via Williamson Street and Shannon Avenue. Parking at the rear provides the shortest path to the bridge room. Park on the street or in the driveway on the left side. The driveway circle must be kept open for emergency vehicles. Enter the building by the door next to the small greenhouse protrusion. The game is immediately inside, first door to the left.
If you elect to park in front of the building, in consideration of the residents, please park only to the left of the entrance. The game is on the lower level, down one floor via elevator or stairs. Exiting the elevator, proceed all the way down the long sloping hallway to the right (do not be misled by the ‘Clare Bridge Place’ sign). A receptionist is on duty just inside the entrance if you have any questions.
The game fee is $7 per regular session (additional fees apply for special games – STaCs, Charity Games, Unit games, etc.). Results are available on this site by clicking the Results menu. Results are also posted on the acbl.org site (Clubs/Club Results/Rhode Island/Tiverton/Ocean State Bridge Club).
